We all know that employee retention is a big business challenge in our industry where top performers bounce from company to company. Yes, many are following opportunities to earn more money – but that’s far from the only contributing factor. It’s time for integration company leaders to take more accountability when it comes to their retention problems.
This webinar addresses the elephants in the room. There will be uncomfortable discussions about the top reasons integration company employees leave their jobs:
- Many companies aren’t providing a good enough growth path for team members. Individuals feel like their goals and needs are deprioritized and look elsewhere.
- Too often companies overload employees with training without balancing their work schedules. They expect the best but don’t manage toward an optimal outcome.
- Company and human resource leaders make little or no effort to identify trends among exiting employees. They either don’t do exit interviews or just go through the motions. They implement no change but expect a different result.
- Is it your fault? Company owners, leaders, HR directors, and managers need to look in the mirror and identify their culpability in employees leaving.
- Company culture: When NSCA surveyed integration companies about the roots of retention problems, it invariably came back to issues within company culture. In fact, all of the above comes back to company culture.
NSCA Director of Workforce Development Laura Janssen leads a frank discussion about who NSCA member companies need to do better to curb the retention challenge. She’s joined by TJ Lettner of AVI Systems, Josh Forcht of CEC and NSCA Business Accelerator Partner, Insperity.
Attendees will walk away with a to-do list of that includes areas to focus on improving – and perhaps a little humbled. If retention is a business challenge for your company, don’t miss this NSCA webinar.
