R. Bob Adams Named Instructor of the Year for NSCA University

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – August 4, 2006 – The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), a leading not-for-profit association supporting the commercial electronic systems industry, has named R. Bob Adams 2006 Instructor of the Year for their NSCA University – College of Systems Sales. Adams was selected based on student evaluations of his course titled “Sales Considerations for the Religious Market,” which was presented at the 2006 NSCA Expo.

Bob a very long time now and have always been impressed with the knowledge he has of this industry and specific markets.  Beyond that, this is a guy who truly cares about this organization.  He has always stepped up and done more than we could ever ask of him. Adams is a published author in such magazines as The Church Musician, Religion Magazine, Your Church, The Communicator, Technologies for Worship, Church Production, and Sound & Video Contractor Church Business, and Resolution. He is featured in Crown International’s video for operators, “Live Sound! for Houses of Worship.” Additionally, Adams is sought after as a speaker, having given hundreds of seminars for such organizations as the Acoustical Society of America, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, National Conference of Church Musicians, JBL Corporation, Barco Corporation, SLS Loudspeakers, AKG Corporation, National System Contractors Association (NSCA), Council of Educational Facility Planners International, the Baptist Sunday School Board (now Lifeway), the National Creative Arts Festival, the Inspiration Conferences in the U.S. and Canada, and international conferences in China, Malaysia, and Singapore for the International Communications Industry Association.

 

 

The NSCA College of Systems Sales is one of six colleges in the NSCA University offering educational training for audio and video systems contractors/integrators, product manufacturers, consultants, sales representatives, architects, and specifying engineers. Other colleges feature courses for Technical Knowledge, System Design, Project Management, Business, and Allied Professionals. Participants in NSCA University programs can work toward a Certificate of Completion, which is awarded after attaining 24 Learning Units (LUs) within a college.
