NSCA Partners with Manufacturers to Provide Quality Educational Programs

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, August 3, 2007 — Seven new manufacturers have joined forces with NSCA to provide education and training to members. The Partner Providers, who now total ten, will provide quality training to anyone wishing to renew their EST certification or gain credits toward a Certificate of Completion program (CCP). By teaming up with outside manufacturers, members can earn additional learning units (LU’s) applicable toward NSCA certifications.

“These companies meet NSCA University’s high standards; we can vouch for the quality of their product,” says NSCA Executive Director Chuck Wilson.

Wilson says the partnerships were born out of a desire to provide more learning opportunities outside of the annual NSCA Conference and Expo.   “The training gives our members more options,” he explains.

NSCA’s original three Partner Providers included: Brawn Consulting; Extron Electronics, and Synergetic Audio Concepts (Syn-Aud-Con).

As of June 2007, seven educational partners have been added: AMX; ATM Fly-Ware; Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc.; Chief Manufacturing; Lectrosonics, Inc.; Valcom, Inc. and Xantech Corporation.

“The word is starting to get out and manufacturers are starting to jump on board with NSCA University,” according to Wilson.

Learning more about all the exciting course offerings is just a mouse click away at www.nsca.org (click on NSCA University).

“NSCA wishes to thank these companies for their progressive approach to education,” Wilson says.  “We look forward to forming additional partnerships in the future to benefit our members and help them attain their educational goals.”
