Focus on practical skills, hands-on training
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, May 21, 2007 — The NSCA Education Department is currently accepting proposals for educational presentations to be delivered at NSCA® Expo 2008 in Dallas, Texas. An event drawing approximately 10,000 attendees each year, Expo provides unparalleled educational opportunities to those who attend courses.
The overall theme of NSCA educational programs will be systems integration and convergence. Courses will focus on current and upcoming technologies, sales and management techniques and strategies, and system design and installation. Of particular interest are classes at the advanced and expert levels focusing on the integration and convergence of various technologies. Presentations that teach practical skills that can be applied immediately on the job and hands-on skills training are also ideal for Expo education. Topics should be generic — not product or company specific.
Courses offered during Pre-Expo Workshops will take place Feb. 19-20, 2008, and may be either eight hours over one day or 16 hours over two days. Courses offered during Expo Seminars will take place during the exhibition, Feb. 21-23, 2008, and must either be two or four hours in length.
Proposals must be received at NSCA headquarters no later than July 1, 1007. Delinquent submissions will not be considered. Learn more about proposal submissions by downloading the Call For Presentations brochure. Proposals may be submitted electronically by visiting http://cfp.nscaexpo.org.
